I feel obligated to post an update despite the fact that I really don’t have anything to report. I’ve been changing some things around in the story, and haven’t worked much on any artwork. I hope to be able to report much more progress with the next update, which will hopefully be sooner than 3 months down the road.

Got some more sketching done over the last few days. It kind of puts it into perspective and let’s me know I really am starting from scratch on this thing.

Writing the storyline is definitely an endless process. So far I’ve gotten the first few pages scripted and the way the story continues to advance is going to give me more and more pages to script. Once I reach a good stopping point I plan to start kind of working on the page layouts for the cover and first few pages. Once that happens, I’m fairly certain I’ll be too motived to not complete the cover and page one so that I can get the comic posted!

Forward progress

Not too much happening. I’ve got some more story ideas brewing and got some basic sketches down for some of the characters. I’m hoping to have rough drafts of the first cover and at least the first two pages done by this time next month.

I’m working on a gallery page that’ll house some of the preliminary artwork and some other stuff to try and fill the time until the finished comic comes together.

Everything has one, this one belongs to this project. I’m working (slowly) on trying to pull this thing together. I’ve got several ideas and concepts that I’m kicking around but I don’t want to rush into it and produce something half-assed.

I’ll try to post sketches and various tidbits from the creation process and we’ll see where things end up.

Stick with me and hopefully it’ll be worth the long ride.
